Bring back #kde-www

Bring back #kde-www

Interestingly enough it seems that there is actually an IRC channel for kde websites, it just isn't populated by anyone. Now, I'm not the overarching authority on all things KDE on the web. But I would really like to see people in #kde-www on irc.freenode.net.

I think this will continue to get more important as we develop web services which interact with the KDE desktop. And also important for continuing to develop better end user KDE websites. We need to establish places where us dirty web developers can work on server side components which are becoming key to free software desktop environments.

I'm very interested in developing a Drupal implementation of the Open Social Service API and it would also be awesome to get implementations in numerous languages and frameworks. Then, hopefully as time goes on we can get these implementations to talk to each other and thereby form networks of communities.

So, help take the first step to this and hop on #kde-www. It would be awesome to see a great community form around these ideas. There is already #amarok and already #plasma, and there really should be #kde-www too. I'll see you there!

Update:
There are already a lot more people in #kde-www then there were 24 hours ago. Awesome! I look forward to seeing even more people there!
